Default How are SC/Carrera Fuchs wheels finished from the factory?

By that I'm asking what the procedure was. They're anodized, yes, but were the centers painted or black ano first? Was the paint special in some way?

I'm asking because I'm thinking of refinishing a set, and want to get the order right. When Fuchs deteriorate, the center black seems to drift away, and it doesn't look like paint...it looks like a different process.

Thanks!

Doug

Some sort of clear anodize I think, with black paint over it. There were some comments earlier this year about using clay bar on the black centers.
