with 1/2 inch do you use the stock studs/nuts?

sounds like a bad idea.....

I would not do it with 1/2 inch let alone 3/4, how many threads are engaged?

I think its safe to go 1 1/2 D thread as the best, 1D would be IMO minumum... anything less would be dangerous - again, its my opinion not me experience as I have not run spacers on the 911, just the 996. That said on the 996 if you add 5mm spacers we always advise 5mm longer bolts....never stock

.5" = 12.5 mm thats huge
.75 - 19 mm, NO WAY I would run without some input from the track dudes (or measuring the engagement)

i wouldnt recommend them for the track but for the street your not gonna have constant high loads. You will have to change to longer studs to get decent thread engagement.

Porsche used 21mm spacers on the front of 930's and rear of 944's up to 85. They also used 66mm long studs with these 21mm spacers

As Ed says, the critical thing is you get enough captive thread. You will need to press out the old and press in longer studs. Or, you can buy some proper wheels!
