The question about whether these are DIY projects really lies with your mechanical talents and experience.

These are not expensive items, however some things require the removal of the intake system and thats somewhat complex to get it right.

Of course Steve knows what he's talking about...
The intake runner boots are very inexpensive and motor mounts are a few hundred $, but it's not really clear what it means that the intake runners themselves are ground down. If you need all new runners, those are not cheap. On Pelican they are $273 each (x6). Do you have pics?

Have not any pics...was just studying the last invoices fron Radamachers in Tucson. He said it was a 15 hour engine out job....too bad if it is a dealbreaker. Really want the car!

i did all of these repairs on my SC .. here is my take on things
rear mounts piece of cake , about half an hours work with a jack and 2 mounts.
Intake runner boots .. replaced mine when i blew the airbox as I took the entire injection system out of the car . Not difficult but not for the faint of heart either. to have a mech do it could be pricey.
the intake runners are "tamped down" where the inserts go in that hold the injectors. These extrusions are sometimes ground off to get the inserts out to replace them.
I guess if too much get ground off it may be hard to tamp down the new ones but i did not have any issues doing this. I doubt you would need new runners but ya never know.

I would not let this be a dealbreaker on that car. From what I can gather here on a computer, that looks like a wonderful car.

Ok,
The former mechanic also suggested that you checked the clutch while the engine was out and fixed the selby the crankcase I think he said.
Yeah we do have repaishops in Denmark
Just dont want to spend many thousand dollars on my "new" car.

If this is all he found, buy the car. These are simple repairs. Go drive the car and save em for a spring repair session after you become more familiar with the car. Just think about the things he could have found, like poor compression or leak down, transmission issues, rear wheel bearings, bushings, electrical problems etc.
Use the items to negotiate a lower price, like everybody does with PPI reports.
Good luck.
