Great.
As I told you at this moment I am at the military base getting ready for Afghanistan. The car is in excellent condition, with everything working on it. All consumables(oil, filters, brakes) changed, tires in very good shape. Never raced. I can ship the car to you. The shipping isn't a problem. I can do it at no cost for you because I will use military transport for shipping. You will receive the car along with all the signed documents and the keys. The shipping will take 2-3 days. As for the payment I can start the transaction only through eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection Program. You will have your money refunded if something wrong happens or you are not satisfied with the car. All I need is your full name and address to start the transaction, after that they will contact you regarding this purchase.
Please let me know.
Thank you.

Reason: Scam...
This is the care in Philly I was asking about yesterday. Buddy in Utah was looking into it and if it was legit, I would go pick it up in Philly. He got the email above from the guy.
It's a scam, I have a friend look into an old t-bird, after some emails like the above, he found the same car listed on a few different sites with different people. What they do is send you to a fack ebay or paypal site to get all your info.
You'll get a fake email from the "Ebay Vehicle Purchase Protection Program." Closer examination will reveal it's not actually coming from an Ebay address. It will ask for bank account numbers.
Ebay never accepts money on behalf of buyers or functions as an escrow service.
I'm retired military and can tell you they (military) will not ship a car to someone else other than the military member and only in conjunction with a permanent move...FYI.
Does anyone really even have to ask if that's a scam???
I'm in the Philadelphia area. I love it when I see the Philadelphia cars for sale on Craigslist, at 50% the going market price, and then you see the picture of the car with a cactus in the background!
The part where they say they are "currently of the country" or overseas should be the last clue you need! Or maybe the part where you send money off first?
