Is this where I post about my car finally coming out of the shed to enjoy the warm winter days?
due to WOOT's post about 'what are you waiting for', I just had to get my 911 out for a couple last days. we're going to be sunny and mid 60s here this week. then off to the garage for the winter projects. I'll be driving the 928 for a bit longer, but not in snow/salted roads. should go to the other garage in Dec for those projects.
but if not for winter, not sure when I would get any wrenching done.

Only when there is a photo op and the ground is dry.
For some reason they look worse in the photos - perhaps the angle of the pics. I actually like the look in person.
When the previous owner converted the headlights he put the black rings on and left off the body colored rings.
Overall I like the look of the car, although perhaps the trim rings should have been white in order to match the color of butterscotch ripple ice cream!!
Trees are visible if you look hard and far enough - a few hundred miles further east in Manitoba or Minnesota.
Think the season is over. Did 400 miles on the week end in glorious late fall conditions (for us). Weather has turned cool (+4 C) and damp to start the week off. Doesn't appear to be any upside in the extended forecast.
Oh well, now I can do some minor tinkering on this car and the Triumph.

How's this for "northland" weather...we set a record high today at 66 F and are under a winter storm warning for tonight !
But it's supposed to be dry for othe weekend. Without too much snow, I've got a few more days...
