Is there a tech section on this BB, where I might find directions to perform fundamental repair operations (ie: changing out brake pads or rotors)?

Not sure about here...but Pelican Parts has a pretty good section from changing brake pads to dropping the motor.

I'm contemplating a set of DIY repairs as well
- trying to get my hands on a Bentley manual now. Great excuse to buy tools anyway.

John Dunkle and I have talked about setting up a TECH section, drawing from Rennlist'rs to populate it. We just have a few more details to iron out, and we'll get it started!
