I just bought a 1993 C4 with B&B header and muffler installed. As discuss (a lot) before, the B&B has a pretty huge resonance from 2200-2800 RPM or so, which is making me think about a different muffler.
Does anyone know if the GHL muffler will bolt onto the B&B header?
Thanks,
TD

The simple solution is to have a muffler shop knock down the diameter of the outlets from (the droning, resonating) three inches to two.
Here is is on my early car, with the rear bumper:

And without:

Absolutely. I had it done as exploratory surgery, more than anything, figuring if it didn't work, I'd put on a Flowmaster.
It got rid of the resonance with no performance trade-off that my butt-dyno could detect. The system is also a little quieter, now, although still more aggressive sounding than stock.
Keep in mind, the twists and contortions you see in my inlet and outlet pipes are because I was adpting the C2 muffler setup to the (different) space in the back of an early car.
