My view - take it for a test drive and have a thorough look over. At the price that is asking all I can say is WOW (if all of our assumptions on a 86 coupe with 43K on the clock).

Have never had a PPI on a car that I bought. Have had good luck too.

Sounds like a great deal. Do the PPI. but it still sounds like you are getting a deal

I just did the same thing on an 88 Carrera...$15k was a no-brainer for me.
