Default 911 Cab hard top - anyone ever seen one?

Years ago I had a catalog of factory accessories for my '89 Cab, one of which was a hard top. I've long since lost the catalog and can't for the life of me find a picture of one online, just started talking about it with another Cab owner recently and wanted to refresh my memory...

Has anyone out there ever seen one in the wild, or perhaps even own one? How do they attach? I assume the front latches would be Targa-like, but does it use the snaps & Tenex's at the rear?

Just wondering... TIA!

You need to do a search on this forum. We have talked about it not long ago.

The canvas top must be removed (45 minute job) and then the top installed. It's not simple.

The newest Porsche enjoy a much simpler hardtop installation, albeit not as pretty.

The 996/997 hardtops go over the entire assembly after they are put down.

1985-89 911 561 901 01 $6687.30. These are, of course, the prices in 1989. I have no explanation why 1985 is mentioned for both parts, ...

Thanks for posting the catalog page, Dan!

I actually have a Divert-A-Breeze...it fits over the seats, but works its way up at highway speed.

Blast from the past!

Why can't strosek make one single part that is not a blight on the form of the 911? Just one freakin part that doesn't make the baby Jesus cry!
