Default Help with Interior Color name.

Are these seats Cork in color?
They are Vinyl correct? or could they be leather?

The rear panel looks like a vinyl that we defined as cork from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Those seats are not 'cork' per se, but they may very well be leather because of the perforations and the wear along the left bolster. That particular color is a painted on color--not vat dyed like today's 'natural leathers,' which wear considerably differently.

What you have is a partial leather interior. The majority of the car is the cork vinyl, with leather faced seats (including rears). If your photo is color correct, that is the color as I remember it.

the weird thing is that the rears really do look like the rear shelf pictured with the "Cork Spots" and the fronts as you can see dont really have the spots. huh.

The rear shelf is definitely cork vinyl. The variegated look gives it away.

I can speak from experience with lobster vinyl vs. leather. The vinyl (which is my interior) is variegated with darker "veins" running through it, while the lobster leather is a monotone orange color, no veins. I imagine the cork interior from the same time period would be the same way.

Edgy probably has it nailed.
