and the final 911 icon is...
Ah. Ah. Not so soon….Before the upcoming public unveiling of the final 911 icon next weekend…I am going to have a quess-who thread for this series. So far we have had
Icon 1: Fuchs wheels
Icon 2: Headlights
Icon 3: Porsche crest
Icon 4: Instrument panel
Icon 5: Targa roof
Icon 6: Whale tail
Icon 7: Red rear reflector
Icon 8: Flat six wail and raspy crescendo.
Icon 9: Miscellaneous ( Carrera script, Impact bumper, flared wheel arches,
pedal lay-out, the door and the scent)
Icon 10: ???? ....type in your answer (ONLY ONE GUESS IS ALLOWED)
My sincere request: Everyone who clicks on this thread pleeeease chime in with an answer. It is you members that have made all the hard work put in for this series worth the effort. I would hate to see 500 views and just 10 posts from my usual gang. C’mon show your 911 some love.
The answer will be revealed in a week from now. That way all the members would have had a chance to post their answer. Hmm...I'm excited to see the answers...this will separate the boys from the MEN

Rusnak: Sub icon 9E is the solid “clunk” sound of a 911 door. Oh forgot to mention the rules (now edited)...To be fair to all: ONLY ONE ANSWER IS ALLOWED ...I am loving it; The fun has already begun.

One clue for all of you giving out an answer. The icon # 10 is different from icons that have already been listed...and it is not the headlights (which is icon # 2).

Similar to G50s answer above, but you said it was different than the other physical icons listed, so I'll say the brotherhood that you become part of when driving a 911. The same one that let's a 993 guy post here.
