Need Help Replacing Radio on my 1991 911
I purchased a NEW 1991 911 Targa last Friday. The radio works by the CD player does not. I'd like to replace it with an new radio.
I pulled the radio out this weekend and found that it has an output for a factory amplifier. I'm not sure how I can or if I can replace it with an aftermarket one or need to stick to a Porsche factor radio.
Can anyone help me with instructions on how to replace the radio with an aftermarket one.
I guess my first preference would be to replace it with a factory head unit. Is there anyone here that can direct me to a place that sells the factory head units that will just plug and play?
Thank you for your help!
I've added a couple of pictures for your comments, as well.

SW Stereo has been around awhile and may have something that could work for you. http://www.swstereo.com/
Of course Rod at www.caraudioinnovations.com is a great resource for Porsche audio.
Keep any original equipment you remove from the car. As these cars age, originality becomes very important. Even if that old OEM Alpine doesn't work anymore, it may be valuable to the next owner.
