Not at all. I think mine shrunk when I moved her to Calif. I was really pointing out that the condition of a dash in a 97 Boxster is a little bit apples-oranges.

Leather dashes will shrink with sun exposure... they can be restored. Check the threads.. there are several vendors who do this work.
