targa seals - adhesive????

I would suggest the Mercedes Benz upholstery and trim adhesive, which brushes on and looks to me to be the same stuff that Porsche uses. Send me an email, and I'll try to find the MB part no. for you.

I asked a local body guy..he syas if you use anything other than the 3M adhesive be real..REAL sure you have the seals correctly placed and situated within a very few minutes. I took it that while the 3M stuff may not be as permanent a seal as others (like the MB adhesive) it is much easier to work with. I am gonna find out when I get around to the same job on my '78 Targa.
