I have an 1981 911sc stock and it won't start. I tried replacing the fuel pump relay...nothing.

I checked the fuel pump by lifting the flap in the air filter area and it seems to be functioning. Any other advice you guys can give me wou8ld be appreciated. Thanks!!

Check for spark. Do you hear the CDI whine with the key on?

When the key is turned to the on postion(before starting) there is a high pitched wine. I have not checked for spark as of yet but will thanks.
