Post Option Codes???? Where can I unlock their secret message?

Neighbor has a 993 and he doesn't know how the suspension and the rest of the car was optioned out. I know there is a sight that lists the codes for my car but he would like to find a site that lists those for his car.

Come on guys I'm sure someone has one.

Being substantially "technologically challenged", I use the "Porsche 911 Red Book 1965-1999", author Patrick C. Paternie, MBI Publishing. Have found it to be extremely comprehensive.

If there's not a sticker under the front hood with the option codes listed, you can call Porsche customer service in Atlanta and they'll tell you the codes for that particular VIN. Bruce Anderson's book also has the option codes listed. There is an online list at <a href="http://gene.wins.uva.nl/~marcol/technical/OptionCodes.html," target="_blank">http://gene.wins.uva.nl/~marcol/technical/OptionCodes.html,</a> and a decoder at <a href="http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp" target="_blank">http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp</a>
