Dwight, the Euro premuffler had perforated baffles inside it to wn. It does the same thing as a straight cat by-pass, but quieter at mid ranges. It looks like a cat converter, but makes the car run a little better in my opinion.

Headers lack the outer shrouding that heat exchangers have (such as SSI) that collects the hot air sent to the cabin.
