Will these fit? 944Turbo brakes for 1972 911?

I just got my 1972 911 out of storage today and my friend and mechanic is getting ready to do a brake job on it.
One idea is to put the brakes from a 1986 944 Turbo onto my car.
I have 15" wheels.
Anyone know if these will fit and what I might need to do this conversion?
Thanks in advance!

I do not believe this is a bolt-on process, assuming 4 piston calipers are the norm for 951's. I'm not sure if this is the case. Any such conversion I've seen has required special attention to wheel offsets if using 16's, and the front calipers need adapters and different rotor setups from stock, rears usually need re-machining. I don't see why you'd need to upgrade brakes on a 72, other than to S specs or maybe later 2 piston versions?

The S calipers were little more than alloy versions of the steel calipers("A" caliper used thru the mid 80s on SCs and offer little real world advantages over said steel calipers. The steel calipers are a dime a dozen and do offer improved brakeing. The big deal is, if I remember correctly, the alloy caliper had 3.5" bolt spacing over the standard M caliper's 3" on the early cars. So your application will depend on the struts you currently have.
You can go to great lengths, as Ed points out.

No, they won't fit.
They "could" fit, if you change to later front struts, then ship the calipers to VCI for machining work and their rotor solution. (this is what I did on my '71)
They fit under 15x7's, but you need a spacer for 8's in the rear. 15x6's I have no idea.
There are other simpler, less expensive upgrades that will give you more brakes than you could ever need, and as already noted-the stock brakes on a '72 are already very good.
