Default Door Alignment

I have searched the posts, and could not find an exact answer to 911 door alignment. My driver side door sticks out past the front fender a little bit. It got worse when I installed the Pelican door stay kit. If I loosen the three bolts on each hinge, will I be able to adjust the door inward that way?

Yes, if you have enough clearance to move it. I just checked my 88 Carrera and it is positioned correctly, but I have no inward movement capability since it already sits against the upright mounting area. You may have space. Can't hurt to try. Just don't loosen all the bolts real loose....take it slow so you don't lose the up/down adjustment you already have.

I think the alignment procedure is to align the door first, then the front fender to the door.

No luck. Seems the hinge plates are set all the way towards the inside of the car already. Guess I will have to drop by the body shop and see if there is a remedy.

They'll be able then to adjust the fender outwards.
