Post Will Factory 15x8&9 Fuchs fit on an SC?

I currently have a set of 17x8 & 9 Jongbloeds and a set of 16x8&9 Fuchs (951 offset 8s & 930 rears), both with Hoosier radials (RS303) but would like to try a set of 15s w/ Hoosiers' bias ply DOT tires to effectively lower my final drive ratio. And save money: the bias ply would be $150 less a set. SO, I'm looking for 15x8&9 Fuchs, provided they will fit on the SC. Thanks!

Bobby,

This isn't conclusive, but it may shed some light on your question. In Bruce Anderson's "911 Performance Handbook" there are two charts of interest, one (p.214) of "Wheel and Tire Combinations" and one (p.215) showing the factory Fuchs sizes/offsets/part numbers. For the SC, he shows 7 and 8x15's fitting on the SC, but not 9x15's. The only listing for the 9x15's is under the "recommended" column, on the front of a 75-77 Turbo. The thing that looks odd, is that the offset listed on the Fuchs 9x15 is 3.0mm. He shows the others 15" offsets ranging from 10.6 (8x15) to 49mm (911R 7x15). And the 9x16 has an 15mm offset. He does comment that the 911R 7x15, even with some excessive offset, fits well under the 78-89 911's.
