Need Help with information about a Custom Transmission Application
I am trying to help a friend out and here is where we are at so far.
He has a Sand Rail with a 4.6L Northstar Cadillac Engine and he is Running a 6-Rib 091 Manual Bus Transmission in it.
He wants to Change out the 091 Transmission for a automatic 964 (90-94 911) transmission. We measured the mounting points on his 091 trans and on my Auto trans and they differ by just a little bit. So my question is:
Do they make a Adapter plate that can bolt onto a old bus engine that goes to a g-50 964 trans? That way I can bolt up my bellhousing to that adapter as if I was bolting it to the 964 engine.
Sorry if it is confusing I am trying to explain the best way I can.
