Question Rear axles

When the rear axles are removed from a 911 can the car be rolled without causing damage to the rear bearings??

I'm sure on a 914 it's a no no, I think a 911 is the same. I would use a floorjack to elevate the rear and pull the car around.

JR,

There is a good tech article on my Region's web site on how to change rear wheel bearings on a 911.

Go to: http://vista.pca.org//sch/

Then click the "Tech Articles" tab to go to the document.
