yea, i think i would too...

speaking of older 911's there was a 74' Carrera today at the shop with 36k miles on it... super super clean, cool graphics (big thick 911 on hood) man.... I would love that thing... sad it has so few miles, but wow what a beauty !

Good luck trying to find a clean 21 window bus or Westy for a "sane" price

My friend in NM picked up a 64 Camper Bus at an estate auction for 4 grand and was able to get 20K a few days later form a collector in CA.

Big asking price difference between these two:

78 Targa Yellow $9,800

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/1904359969.html

85 Targa Yellow $24k

http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/1885123773.html

The steering wheel and dash look a bit faded as well as the fuchs

That's funny, my Dad has a gorgeous one (least it was till he let her sit for 3-4 years) that we have driven thousands of miles together in. He bought it for about $6k 15-17 years ago and said recently he thought he could get ~$30k out of it. I thought he was crazy, and truth be told I've always hoped to inherit it.

"No trades. Cash only. I will not send extra pics so don't ask - it is a 30+ year old car you have to see it in person. Do not call me to discuss the history or Porsche - I do not want to talk to you. Only contact me if you are able to pay for and pick up the car. No tire kickers - do not waste my time. "

I love this, I'm not sure how I've managed to ever sell anything at all, I must be using the wrong technique.

Longhood with Lambo doors

http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/2014576745.html

Might not be a bad car if it lost the tail, stripes and only open the doors in the garage

I don't know, that last one scares me. Sounds like it's "ALL WAYS" driven Flat Out.
