No. I left several messages between last night and today and only got an answering machine. Darn! I would have pulled the trigger as Kelley had that at $9700 value. Would have tried to pick it up b/t 4 and 5k. I knew it was too good to be true. Now I have to add Craig's List to my daily obsession! Also missed out on a 87 911 Cabrio for $14k at Auto Kennel that sold to a guy in Germany in the first 10 minutes Paul had it posted! Guess I better make this a full time occupation!
Jay, keep me posted if you see any other screaming deals....anywhere! Thanks again.

Sure thing Tim! You should find a really nice 944NA/924S and get into DE with us down in NCR this spring. Would love to get someone with your passion involved.

Working on a 87 944s and will bring it up here from Virginia middle of April. It is being set up for street/track mode. It'll be a peach.......but the Boxter would've been a nice addition!

Honestly, you will have more fun in the 944. They are bullet proof and the same can't be said for a Boxster. Sitting in the pits broken is no fun.
Here is a GORGEOUS looking SC in Boston.

Longtime lurker...figured these might help out one of you guys currently in the market. Hopefully I'll be able to pull the trigger on my first one this Spring.
Talbot 1980 Targa (Philadelphia) - $10000 seller is very responsive but the car has been up for quite a while now...seems odd given the price and somewhat rarer color.
1979 911 SC (Charlotte) - $9500 not too many details on this one. Guessing the car was resprayed as it appears to be Zinc/Pewter Metallic (perhaps?). However, for the price and apparent condition it is probably at least worth a call/email to the seller.

Three Wheelin'
I sold a few vehicles by stating the lowest price I would take to avoid negotiation and nitpicking, which I don't enjoy. Even after this, a few buyers took personal offense when they're "reasonable offers didn't result in a sale. Like, they got upset when $100 broke the deal. At that point I raised the asking by $1000 for another week, and easily got the price I was looking for.
I never understood the psychology of it. I was just trying to save everyone stress.

This looks like it could be interesting.

Of course, there are a lot of unknowns, including the price. I really want to know all the details but I know I'm not buying it so I don't want to waste the guy's time.
