Other ways to get rid of rock guards?

Yes. But I can't stand the rock guards. Plus, in my town, there are three P cars, a black, a brown, and one this exact color. If I consider my town a party, the girl in me doesn't want to be seen in the same frickin' dress as some other girl at the same party, especially since there'd only be four of us there.

I removed my rock guards due to this forum ie. I kept seeing cars w/o them. I may add the Porsche decals down the sides. I got 'em but not sure if I'll use them. Almost got rid of the K&N air filter-see other post.
Since the car was sprayed, you may not like what you see when you remove them. The rock guards actually serve a purpose. So maybe you can't change the "dress" but you can add a little "make up"! Vanity plate? Window Tint? I added side mirror covers-$40 because the metal had separated from black trim on driver mirror. My hood was blistering so I got a 4-piece track mask-$125. I have since repainted the hood, cost me $500 and it matches the fenders 18 months later. Or... just say what the hell-this town's got twins! Where do you live?
EDIT:I just reread this thread and it sound like you don't own this car yet. If that's correct, I might consider the earlier advise and move on. Sounds like PO may have cut a few corners to save a few buck. Did you see the Rennlister who had two 911's for sale. He has fallen on hard times and needs to sell. He cut the price by 1500-2000 this weekend. I think one is the same color blue. Do a search for "This weekend only" and "with a heavy heart and empty soul"
