For a ballpark figure you can always go to www.nada.com - under their Consumer Site they have a section in the toolbar called "Classic Cars" and you can at least see what they show for retail prices.

Pricing will fluctuate given where you live. You can have 10 professionals in the auto industry and each will have a different number, books are guides and each car stands on its own merits.

and keep in mind the C4 can be a nightmare and ridiculously expensive to fix the AWD system. i would say stay away for that reason alone.

Agreed - There are numerous reports of all-wheel drive issue on the 964's. Major improvements were made to the all-wheel drive system for the 993's. You will just need to do your homework on the 964 C4and set aside some cash for issues that might arise.
