Classic Canadian curmudgeon! I love it.

If it weren't so comprehensive, I'd use it as sig material. <-- For Rusnak

I have been over there allot more as I am restoring my car.. Not trying to start a PP vs RL debate..
I have no problem paying the membership, as a matter of fact I did it right away.

I posted just in case somebody needed the sugar scoops.. and yes I know they are not the most popular but you never know what things are woth to other people. Yes it was my fault for posting in the wrong sections too.

Jokes are fine but when the 1st post a guy make gets a reply from some know it all trying to ridicule him, kinda turns somebody off to the site.. ya know.... so go ahead and be the "Newbie" Welcome wagon... and yes membership will fade quickly.

Karma... someday you may make a stupid comment or question..

If this was posted on the Pelican tech forum, and you used the backdate reference, you would have gotten a similar reply, IMO.

If you'd used the suggestion that a restoration might make use of them, I think the sarcasm would not exist.

You'll find that even though there may be know-it-alls here, everyone is pretty amiable. That is one of the problems with online communication-one can't really here what is going on in one's replies. Ice was not slandering or ridiculing. Just having a little fun.

this is all true.... except the stupid question part, Marc is a sharp guy and I hate to point out the "there is no stupid question" thing

but there isn't

There IS however a search button that should be used prior to your stupid questions.......
errrr....wait, what did I just say

You are absolutely right.. the only stupid question is that one that isn't asked (which was my point from the begining).......... apparently there is no shortage or stupid ANSWERS though...... see I have a sense of humor too lol.

But really guys.. its all good.
