Boxster seats in my 911
The driver side seat in my '86 is pretty shot. I have access to a pair of Boxster seats in decent condition.
Anyone ever try putting Boxster seats in a 911?
Thanks

Never tried and I imagine you would have to rig up a wiring harness as I realy doub they would be the same. If the hard points matched up it would be a great project. I just had my rails out a couple of weeks ago to , I could have measured up for you

They should fit. You may have to drill a couple of holes in the rails to mount them, but they should fit. I'm assuming they're power seats....I'd not want all of that weight.

Well I can tell you that they do fit....physically. I even went so far as to put the sliders from the driver seat on the nicer passenger seat and got it mounted in the car. Didn't hook up any of the electrics. Shockingly it is lighter than my stock powered '86 seat.

They will fit, Did the same on a 964. you'll need to pry up the tabs at the front to run flush and may need to drill one hole at on the rear rail to line up with the existing holes.
