Hi all,
Talking with another car guy the other day and he said he was having trouble with his battery going dead after the car sat for 2-3 weeks. First off this is a new car, 2008 model, next eyebrow raiser is the dealer could find no reason for the battery discharge, (go figure), next hmmmmmm, after two batteries the dealer keeps telling him he has a bad battery. This guy works in industrial electrical. He knows juice. He keeps saying, come on now. Finally reads an article in a magazine that states the radio must be manually turned off to keep the CD player from "hunting" even with the ignition off, thus draining the battery. So I think hey how could this also help some of us with Porsches, see this car is a Ford Mustang. I thought I would mention it for those of us that have a battery drain problem that has not been found yet. Something simple to try especially if you have upgraded your stereo. Have a good day, I still have cars for sale, Mark
