Default 911SC throttle response

i have an 81 SC and just installed a new clutch (and all the trimmings) and a lightweight flywheel. the new response is great but when I blip the throttle to downshift, the revs drop to 0 and the motor has stalled once. is there a simple "throttle stop" that I can set to keep the engine from stalling.
thanks for all your help

You can simply adjust the idle speed a bit higher to help,....

Actually i didn't want to say anything until someone else chimed in as I didn't want to do more harm than good ... but ....
I had this EXACT issue after I replced my air box. I had to do some tweaking with the idle speed screw to keep the car runing while i adjusted the CO . After I had it set it turned out the RPM was in the 800 range for idle but it stalled out as yours did. I found out that i was at the very end of travel on the idle screw , I adjusted it back and did allmost 2 full turns and my idle was still at 800 , As soon as it started to go uo a little I stopped. Went out for a run and the problem was solved.

Assuming that the timing and mixtures are properly adjusted, you can raise the idle to around 950-1000 rpm. The idle speed adjustment on the side of the throttle body is easy to get to and adjust.
