What's the name of the company that takes Fuchs wheels and converts them to diffent sizes? I have a set of Carrera-sized fuchs that I want to convert to 17x8 and 17x10 (for a 930). Anyone have experience w/ this company's work? Bad idea?
P.S.: It's not HRE. They manufacture a 3-piece Fuchs lookalike.

HRE makes a 3-piece wheel out of Fuchs centers. So do a few other places.
I recently got a set made by Lindsey Racing, in Oklahoma. They make 3-piece versions, but I had a set of 2-piece wheels made. To do this, they need 16x6 donor Fuchs. No other size of Fuchs will work (that's right, no 16x7's).
No one actually adapts Fuchs to larger sizes. They cut out the centers and affix them (either with bolts, in the case of 3-piece wheels, or by welding, in the case of 2-piece) to another manufacturer's rims. In the case of my wheels, a one-piece outter is heated up, and then allowed to cool and contract down on a Fuchss center. Then it's welded in place along the inside.
Mine are 8x10x17, and have already held up to 8 track events without any signs of trouble.

If you're using them for racing, check your class rules before you have a set made.
