Default Valve Temperature?

Just finished adjusting my valves, performing that service really kind of sucks. I am glad I only have to do it every two years.

Anyway can someone explain why a slightly looser valve runs cooler?

The longer the valve sits on the seat, the more heat gets transferred to the seat,....

Looser valves sit longer on the seat,.......
