Hi there,
Can anybody give me an idea as to how much I should expect to pay for 3rd Party/F/T insurance for a mid-80's 911SC or Carrera 2 ?
I would only be doing 3000-4000 miles per year.
Also, any decent insurance companies (is here such a thing !?!?) that you would receommnd ?
Ta.

I currently insure my 84 Carrera thru AMERICAN CLASSIC INSURANCE in NJ. We pay a whopping $275 a YEAR for NY State coverage. This includes fire/theft/collision and liability. The set-up took about a week, they faxed over the insurance cards within a day.
Downside?
We are limited to 2500 miles/year (about right for me) and an agreed value of $15,000. They only cover cars in stock condition over 17 years old. It must be a 2nd (or 3rd) car, garaged.
We used J.C.Taylor in the past, paid $78 to cover a 68 912 valued at $8000.
