Default Any recomendation for a PPI in Milford/CT

Hi,

I am driving from Boston to Milford to check out at an '88 in Milford, CT this week. Could someone from the area please recommend a good place to get a PPI?

Thanks!

Several guys in Ct post here ... but if I were you I'd try Dan Jacobs at Hairy Dog Garage or Chris Musante. I think Dan is closer to Milford. Either one will do a good job.

Good luck.

A second here on Dan Jacobs at Hairy Dog. Top notch IMO

Hope the car works out

I used Dan Jacobs to PPI a car, also out of Milford, a red 88 cab. He did a phenomenal job, slightly pricey, but left no bolt unturned. Let me know if this is the same car, I may be able so shed some light on it for you.

Thank you for the recomendation. I will give Dan Jacobs a call in the AM.

Nope, this is not the same car. This one is a metallic dark blue.

BTW, when you say slightly pricey, how much are we talking, just so I am prepared.

I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but I'm thinking it was $5-600, including the leakdown. But again, it was very exacting, and it saved me several thousand dollars in repairs/updates.

You get what you pay for with a PPI. A $200-300 PPI will leave a lot of stones unturned. Another recommendation for Dan Jacobs.

Dan Jacobs is the man. Helped me out at the Glen one time and I will never forget the generosity.

There's an incredible one owner 86 targa in Mass...sudbury I think; saw it on pca a couple of weeks ago and now on cars.com. Something like 30k original miles; silver/black. Not sure if still available.
