That's a fantastic looking (and running) car. May I ask, what color is that? It looks a lot like the Marine Blue that is on my brother's '87 Carrera that we recently backdated to IROC/3.0RS look. It's darker than it looks in this "bright sunlight" pic.

Thanks, its Daytona Grey Jack. Not sure about the USA but in England its an option colour for Audi RS models.

Audi - VW - Porsche...tenuous link but i think I can just about get away with it!?!

It looks FABULOUS. It's refreshing to see a RS/RSR look car that isn't white, red, silver, orange or Viper Green for a change!

Default update

This months been a busy one at work but I've managed a few updates / additions...

New rear wheel bearings [monster job, who's idea was that!!] and 20mm rear spacers [5mm front] - the door cards are in along with carpet retainers and sill covers to get inside looking a bit more finished and i've added RS light lenses with reverse and fog in the indicator lamps so i've half a chance of getting it through an MOT now......and i couldn't resist making up a pair of matt black stripes to match the stone guards and RSR decal - Love 'em, in some light they're invisible and in others they give it a certain attitude!

Waiting patiently for my WEVO shifter to arrive and few little odds and sods to do before August 'ring trip but with the bearings in and 72mm studs now holding the wheels on properly i gave it some beans yesterday and spent a fun 20 mins driving everywhere sideways................what a car, I'm in love!

thanks for your comments. The splitters are basically shaped Fibreglass and door cards are from club Autosport in the UK....all easy enough to make at home though to be honest.

Default Love the car

What a transformation, just what I had in mind using a turbo look as the base.
Where did you get the wheels?
Thanks

You fortunate bastard. Driving the Ring is on my bucket list. And doing it in your RSR too. That is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. The engine does sound incredible. So hot.
