BEAUTIFUL. I dont love the rear taillights but that is literally the only detail that I can find that isnt exactly as I would envision "perfect".

thanks all. I didn't want those rear lights but had a set so painted them and fitted to see. I'm undecided myself but have original lams and have prewired it so i can swap around quite easily.

Interior is trimmed with an exact coy of the Porsche half cage but i onl have 1 seat in at present as i need access in and around the car. It shoul dbe done by nex weekend so i'll post more pics then.

Default shakedown drive

ok, so brakes are on, rear anti roll bar, strut brace fitted and seats in....and most importantly the stickers are on so it must be nearly finished!

Did 50 miles in it yesterday and loved it. couple of iritations:
Sunroof wont close fully. i put in a new wind deflector. PC supplied and it came with an additional central airfoil. I asked them about it and they said to just take it off and see, i did and it doesn't make any difference - they now sugget i buy another...eh!?! 'Sex and Travel!, i think is the phrase! Any suggestions on a cure welcome, its as if the roof just wont push the deflector down that last 1-2mm. It does close firmly but low without the deflector in place.

Secondly, I had a annoying 'scraping/rubbing' noise from rear end whenever i turned to the right that i initially thought was the rear wheel rubbing still. It gradually became quieter and has now gone so i'm more inclined to think it was the brake pads rubbing on the discs????

Obviously the front AR bar isn't yet in so handling wise its not measurable but it went well and sounded great. I have a SW chip sat in the glove box so i decided to have a go at fitting that over lunch yesterday. Typically my fcctory chip was soldered in but luckily the business next to my office houses a circuit board maker so a cup of coffee and 500 free business cards later i have that neatly installed and got to say ...WOWZA!, really feels like a quick car now. It pulls like a train!

Only down side to yesterday was when i turned the blower fans on and a sh#t load of dust exploded into the cabin causing temporary blindess and a dire need to get the hoover out - got a feeling that pretty flocked dash is going to be reluctant to release the dust granules but we can but try!

Check out the pics of her at work today, carried me through the traffic with aplomb, what a great way to start a sunny day......

Can we see some shots under the bonnet of the transformation from short-hood to long-hood?

Close up post-ops from underneath and inside would be great. I'd love to see just how much metal has to be changed.

Cool, I know it's being done more and more. One of the girls that hangs out with us in the OT has one.

Itsfriday, it's 5 o'clock and we're on a rolling rd for dyno test........255.9 bhp's (I reckon that's a 256) and a big fat torque curve peaking at 252!!!!! Yee hah! I'll scan graph and post nxt wk. NB taken on a barmy 23deg air temp so I'd expect that to top 260 on any of our 360 'normal' days of the year

dont you just love technology....check it out on you tube.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rsut0VQ8rwA
