Default Hi from New Member KILRWAIL

I've had my 911 for 4 years and decided to join these forums for the camaraderie and helpful tips. I live in the Ottawa area and am a member of Rennsport Region. I already recognize a number of names here and am looking forward to getting to know more of you. I hope this is the correct forum in which to post an introduction!

Hey Peter, welcome to rennlist. This is indeed the right forum for your car. Check out the Rennsport forum it is a sub forum of the Canada forum. Lots of your track pals from Montreal and Ottawa are there.

best,

Bob

Beautiful car!!!!

With some suspension and more camber, the handling will match that nice new engine,....

We've already got our Canadian quota covered, we'll put you on the waiting list.

Welcome. Impressive motor, and as Steve points out, a nice starting point!

Hey Peter, and welcome to Rennlist!

So what was the dyno improvement on your new(est) engine? Certainly hope you've worked all those gremlins out and this year you will be clear sailing... on track!!

Thanks Peter. It's been on and off the dyno, but not stretched to anything close to a full load. I'll break it in for 3500 km, then we'll see - you in my mirror, heh, heh. Seriously, I expect something like 240-250 hp at 6000, which is about 20-30 more than before. At 2730 lb (including me) it will be "adequate".

Hmmm, that car looks familiar but I can't quite place it ...

Welcome to Rennlist Peter, can't wait to see (and hear) that motor at the track.

Now we just need to get a Saturday morning GTG put together to rival our GTA brethren...

Cool car Peter - I think I've seen you around town. Have you been to the Wednesday night cruise nights at Rideau Carleton? My Dad mentioned a cool Carrera 3.0 in red this past season....he's usually there with his land yacht 65 Caddy. Got my car obsession from him, though in a decidedly different flavour.

Cheers,
Dave
