My '85 911 turbo look Carerra has the 'boxed' rockers (it's not a slantnose). I love the car except for this one thing, too much Miami Vice look for me. I've seen factory boxed rockers be for sell at around $1K and would gladly trade mine for some stock guards red rockers. What are my options?

Can't you just remove them? Your's don't look factory. I can't see the jack hole in the shot.

They are easy to remove only about 4 screws, but no factory rockers underneath. What next? Thanks for the suggestion.
