I started the install of my Rennline fire extinguisher mount yesterday and either I'm misunderstanding the instructions or this mount, advertised to fit in MY '74-'98 911s, won't work in my car. I have a stock manual seat on the passenger side and received the Rennline mount for manual seats. My seat rails have 3 M6 bolts per rail, but the mount came with only 4 M6 bolts and they're narrower in diameter than the bolts from my rails. Has anyone successfully installed this mount in an '87 Carrera? I bought one of these mounts for my 993 as well, but I'm reluctant to spend the time pulling out the passenger seat in that car only to find it won't work there either.
