74 US Carrera Question
Does a 74 Carrera with US spec have lightweight body panels and glass ? Is it a real lightweight ?

It has the same body and suspension as the euro 74 Carrera but not the drive train. The drive train is all 2.7S.

Nossir, however depending on options, they are very close to the same weight (1098kg) as the touring version of the '73 2.7 RS.
Only the '73 RS lightweight (M471) received the thinner steels and glass.

Thanks Steve. I recalled you saying that they were a light car, and I wondered if I was missing something.
