whoever is telling you that is just jelous they don't have a 911. Total B.S. It is true that if your cap and rotor were in poor shape you could have starting issue in wet weather , but that is the issue of ANY car and the grill in the back has nothing to do with it ..

It's fixed. Water logged DME.

Yesterday it was still damp/raining outside so I pulled the DME. Removed cover (held by tabs) for internal inspection. Let sit on warm air vent in the house over night.

Put back in this morning....always runs better after I work on it.

Long ago I figured this out...How does changing wiper blades improve acceleration ?
