Hi all,
I've been trying to upload a picture of my "new" 84 but until now (hopefully) have been unsuccessful. I received it a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to take it out on the road other than a quick shake-down up the street and back due to nasty cold/snow/ice and the ever present salt and ice-melt on midwest roads. Can't wait for the roads to clear to get out for a good run on the Indiana country roads.
Obviously its a coupe with whale tail and has tan interior. Very nice 10 footer with goals to be even better. On the to do list when I purchased is a new battery (done), tires (leaning toward the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport), and some body touch up.
Thrilled to have this car sitting next to a Ferrari 308 in my garage - a couple of true classic icons -imo.
I feel compelled to mention that Intercity picked it up in blizzard conditions in western Missouri and traveled through some really nasty weather to get here within my schedule constraints. Gary and Paula Morrison managed the weather beautifully and got my new 911 to Indy safe and sound - they are top notch! Nicki in the Intercity office was great putting up with all my questions and keeping me up to date on progress. I highly recommend them.
I plan to be on this site quite a bit as I will have a million questions as I start "playing".
Cheers!

Here's a shot of the 308 from a couple of years ago - another very nice 10 footer imo. When the weather improves I'll photo both the 911 and 308 together.
Being new to this site will I go to "Porsche Hell" for posting something other than a Porsche?
Cheers
