Ugh - Inside/out door ding - suggestions?
Last night, I was the owner of a nearly pristine exterior black 79 SC. To my horror this morning, I found what appears to be a protruding door ding which looks to have come from the inside of the passenger-side door.
both doors make a crackling noise when opened, but the passenger side seems to crackle a litte more. Plus it doesn't seem to hit a discernable door stop.
1)Am I hosed on this damage (really, it isn't terribly noticeable, but I'm fanatical about stuff like this)or can it be easily fixed?
2)Any suggestions are where to turn to fix both door closing machanisms to rid myself of the crackles?
