So that a Pre-Purchase Inspection (on a '72 2.4 T) does not take all day, is there any recommendation on priorities? Would a Leak-Down test be a top priority in that it can provide information for both intake and exhaust valves as well as piston rings, etc? I could most definitely use some guidance in this area as I am having such an inpection done next weekend. Thank you. Dan

 

Go to the following link FAQ- it offers great advice and a checklist of questions. Don't rush the PPI. A couple hundred dollars now saves thousands later.
