Default Opinions on value of this 911?

Hi Gang,

I've been intending to buy a 1987-1989 911 but came across this 1991
today and it intrigues me! Here is a link to the ad...

you know it's purple right?

964's are greta cars... most of the weak points on then have usually been take care of by now, run it by the guys on the 964 forum.

I personally like the 964 cars. That one is purple, and the targa roof is not my choice in a 964. The 993 spoiler and 17" twists indicate a cosmetic conscious owner which could be double edged. I know a sweet gaurds red/ tan 91 coupe in South Carolina and it could be had for $20k. I know the history on the car and it's been well-owned(PCA chapter president). I know it's across the country, but for referance... A 964 is a great car with it's own set of issues including valve guides, but the same advice goes as you found in the other thread about the 87-89. For some unknown reason people attach a stigma to the 964 cars, but they are well worth a look in your search for a 911. Look at everything and drive everything you can. You'll know when it comes along.
