I'm curious what modifications if any are required for replacing the seats in a 1986 Carrera with those from a 964. Is it a bolt-in replacement? Anyone know?

Hi Emery, If you can get the seat rail measurements of both seats you should be able to tell if they will fit. You might have to modify slightly, drill some holes, etc.. I am going to put Boxter seats in a 944. They will sit a little higher, but I'm short 5' 8" and will work just fine. The 944 front seat mount will have to be hammered flat. Remember, where there is a will there is a way.

I have CS seats in my B5 S4 Avant and it changed my world. I'm 6 3' and fit with a helmet...room to spare. I'm hoping for the same in the 993.
