Man, that looks like fun, but I have my kid that morning and she's not going to make a good co-pilot! ;-)

Hey Javier....I was wondering when I'd hear from you. I'd sent you an e-mail on this a couple of weeks ago. Family first, but if anything changes, your Ruf would make a good escort for us mortals.

Ed,

I don't remember getting the e-mail! I got a PM from Ed Harrison...

I'm going to see if my parents can watch Sierra... I would love to make it, brother.

A little bump here....the Pelican thread is the main source of info now:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...san-diego.html

My guess is we'll have "Xteen" cars show. A nice brisk NY Day to enjoy some great cars and great roads.

Ed, I spent the day re-copper piping from the water heater to the kitchen, behind the cabinets and out to the side yard. Talk about pressure.

The next project is to install all the recessed lighting I wired for way back in the day when we did the room addition upstairs.

Why am I telling you this.....???? Well, I am seriously thinking of ditching out on you guys.

......But I did spend the day thinking about that $777.00 German carpet kit at Pelican for the Carrera. Come on.....When was the last time one of us did a thread on a full factory carpet replacement project in a cabrio.....Could be fun.

Sorry we missed you Doug. Happy New Year-we had 25 or so cars, an awesome time had by all.

There are pics up on Pelican on the original thread and a new one.

The Mesa Grande portion was a bonus leg. I hit "a buck thirty" twice on that section. You gotta rest the day before next time...

I got struck behind a RS that wasn't going to open up so I drove Mesa while emailing work on the BB.... Just kidding it wasn't HORRIBLE... Oh I've got video too that I'll share of East Grade and Mesa. I have to wait for Dawn to get off of the Mac Laptop so I can upload it.

OMG! Early morning drive, then pack the family up to go to La Jolla, walk around the beach, watch the seals, eat a great lunch with a bottle of wine, walk around for more seals, art galleries, and to top it off, drive by Symbolic to see two Bugatti's, and a Lambo Revention! Beats any New Years eve drunk fest that's for sure! Gotta love this place!
