As previously posted, I am looking for a nice 3.2 or SC to purchase here in the Seattle area.
I looked at and drove one of each today, an 87' 3.2 and an 82' SC.
Both of the cars' owners had the them lowered to "European specs".
What is the "correct" look of the cars from the side view? I think a non-lowered car should have a small gap between the top of the rear tire and the fender lip.
These cars' fender lip was about even with the top of the rear tire, maybe even a bit lower.
Also, what about the rake? Should lowering a car change that slightly forward rake to something else?
I should state these cars had the original stock size tires and 16" rims.

Stock RoW ride height w/ stock 16" wheels/tires will leave a gap above both wheels. Many or maybe most owners lower their cars further, to the top of the tires or some times even below that. Hopefully some sort of bump steer kit is used to accommodate this further lowering. As always a little rake is a good thing and should be adjusted into the final setup.
