Post Airbox question - '88

While replacing the rear shocks on my '88 I had to remove the air filter enclosure (airbox) to get at the right side shock. When I went to re-install the airbox I found there was a porthole (apx 12mm) that looked like it should have a vac. line going to it but there were no unattached vac lines in the area. What am I missing?

If it weren't for the fact the hole is on the intake side of the air filter I wouldn't worry about it but since this effectivly bypasses the air filter I'd like to know what should be attached there. If nothing is attached I could use a large vac plug to cover it. I can't start it to check to see if she runs rough until Sat.

There was no mention of this in the Bentley manual.

Thanks,
Bill W.

Bill,

Are you referring to the attachment for the oil vent/breather tube that should run from the oil filler tube/neck to the air box on a 3.2? That would be my guess.
