Default Market Values for 1965-1973 Porsche 911

I thought some 911 guys might be interested in the attached article on the value trends for the early cars.
I recently received a free subscription link to the Collector Car Price Tracker ... no affiliation ...

Not sure where that data is coming from, I just sold a 73 S Targa for over $63K, 100K + sales are not unusual for nice S coupes.

I subscribe and I think that the data is mostly gleaned from public auctions including Ebay. Thus, private sales (hard to document) are probably not included.

you have to wonder how much work a $13K 70-73 911 needs. What good is paying that kind of money when you need to put another $60k into it.

Reliability - compared with what? Compared with any other '64-'69 must rate 5 stars not two!

Parts & support - 2 stars, oh come on guys get real - the 911 must be one of the best supported cars of all time both by the factory and the aftermarket guys.

As usual an article full of the brown stuff.
